When a Person in Peru, or Siberia, or rural Haiti falls ill, PIH uses all of the means at our disposal to make them well… Whatever it takes. Just as we would do if a member of our own family—or we ourselves—were ill. Bring Aid to Haiti Thank you for joining me to bring aid to the people of Haiti Many of us are wondering how to give aid to Haiti in a careful responsible way. Partners In Health has been working in Haiti for nearly 25 years. PIH understand local needs, and it's there for the long term as well as the immediate crisis. It knows how to get things done! Its local team is already working to ensure PIH’s coordinated relief efforts, leveraging the skills of more than 120 doctors and nearly 500 nurses and nursing assistants who work at established sites throughout Haiti. Please help me make sure that this skilled team has the resources it needs to address the crisis at hand. |
